Privacy Policy

National Informatics Centre has Developed the “OC-MIS” mobile app for National Health Mission, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India(GoI) as a free app for restricted use by authorized Government users working in Health Facilities across the country. The app is developed to facilitate receipt of Heath equipment being sent to the Health Facilities by GoI under PM Cares, by scanning of secure QR code pasted on item boxes. The app is available at no cost and is intended for use as is.

The app is meant to be used by the authorized In-charge of Health Facilities (CHC, PHC, Health Wellness Centre/Sub Centres, District/Sub-District Hospital) all over India and not by the general public. These users are authorized by the concerned Government District Administration/Health authorities using the Oxycare Portal.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible in OC-MIS mobile app unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

The app enables the user to login using authorized mobile number on which user gets OTP to login into the app. The user gets information related to Health equipment allotted to their Health Institution and can enter receipt/ installation details, report problems or otherwise manage stock of these items. This information is collected as per fields specified in the secure QR code generated for every item at the time of its dispatch from the Central Store. The information includes item type, QR code, serial number, manufacturer, date of receipt/ installation, daily status of functioning of item,problem reporting date etc. and is never made available in public domain.The app uses device camera to read secure QR code and collects the GPS coordinates of the location where the item is available/installed/ functioning.

Log Data

The app also collects the device information like Make, Model, OS version, App version being used to enter, manage and report problems related to equipment supplied to the Health Institutions.

Security

We value your trust in using this mobile app and collecting data related to Health equipment being supplied under PM Cares, on behalf of Government, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
